Absolutely. “Rising” holds up better than many modern sci‑fi pilots. The CGI of the Puddle Jumper and the Wraith dart sequences may lack Avatar -level polish, but the character writing is timeless. – A “Mini” encode reduces bitrate to about 3–5 Mbps using advanced codecs (x264 or x265). For a show from 2004 with moderate motion and dark scenes (Atlantis has many shadowy corridors), a well-done Mini encode retains nearly all detail.
