Released on May 26, 2015, by A$AP Worldwide, Polo Grounds Music, and RCA Records, AT.LONG.LAST.A$AP arrived with a heavy emotional weight. The album was co-executive produced by Rocky himself, the legendary Danger Mouse, and his close friend and mentor, A$AP Yams. Tragically, Yams passed away in January 2015 due to acute mixed drug intoxication, just months before the album's release. His death deeply influenced the record's tone, which oscillates between euphoric experimentation and somber reflection. The album is bookended by these sentiments, opening with the mournful "Holy Ghost" and closing with "Back Home," a poignant track that features a sample of Yams delivering a final, ambitious pep talk to the A$AP Mob.
