Index Of Pathan [updated]

Another historical index is the entry for "Pathan" in the 1911 Encyclopædia Britannica. This entry enumerated the "strongest and most warlike tribes of the North-West frontier of India, such as the Afridis, Orakzais, Waziris, Mohmands, Swatis and many other clans". It also noted that the Pathans are split into different tribes, each into clans, and each clan into sections, making "the nomenclature is often very puzzling".
