Bhajans for Sathya Sai Baba

Indian devotional songs in western music notation

What Bhajans can you find here
This website is dedicated to Bhajans sung in the presence of Sathya Sai Baba in His ashrams in South India and in Sai centres around the world.

What's unique about this website
On this website you can learn the Bhajans by the means of audio & music notation & translation on one page per Bhajan.

How do Indian Bhajans come to Switzerland
Some Swiss Sai devotees and musicians dedicate themselves to singing, playing and teaching these Bhajans. For this purpose they have edited books with the transcription from original Indian audio sources of 3 x 108 Bhajans (324 Bhajans) in western music notation.

Why do we sing Bhajans
In 1968 Sathya Sai Baba said: "Sing aloud the glory of God and charge the atmosphere with divine adoration; the clouds will pour the sanctity through rain on the fields; the crops will feed on it and purify and fortify the food; the food will induce divine urges in man. This is the chain of progress. This is the reason why I insist on group singing of the names of the Lord."

Bittornado 0.3.17 Fix -

Subsequent updates to the BitTorrent protocol introduced heavier features, such as DHT (Distributed Hash Table) for trackerless torrents and protocol encryption to bypass ISP throttling. While these features were necessary to combat ISP interference, early implementations occasionally caused memory leaks, increased CPU overhead, or stability issues.

BitTornado 0.3.17 was the direct predecessor to (unreleased, minor fixes) and inspired the development of rTorrent (C++ rewrite) and Deluge (Python but with libtorrent backend).

The Legacy of BitTornado 0.3.17: A Look Back at a BitTorrent Pioneer

BitTornado 0.3.17 was designed to be exceptionally lightweight, with an installer size of approximately . Though initially built for Windows 95 through Windows 7, it is still frequently cited in research and legacy archives for its simple, cross-platform Python architecture.

: Common "interesting" posts from users often revolve around troubleshooting, such as compatibility issues with security software like Norton or specific trackers like DIME (Digitally Imported Music Exchange), where the client would open but fail to initiate data transfer. Core Functionality

Before BitTornado, early clients offered very few options. Users simply opened a .torrent file and waited. BitTornado changed this paradigm by introducing visual metrics, granular settings, and experimental networking features that eventually became standard across the entire P2P industry. The Significance of Version 0.3.17

Users could allocate specific upload and download speeds for individual files, ensuring that one download did not choke the entire internet connection.
