Some sophisticated tools mimic the Facebook login page. They claim that to view the private profile, the user must log in to their own account via the tool. The credentials entered are sent directly to the attacker. This results in account hijacking, where the attacker can use the compromised account to send spam or demand ransom from the victim's friends.
