At its heart, Jatt James Bond is the story of , a simple, mistreated school bus driver. Orphaned and left with no money, Shinda is emotionally and financially abused by his greedy relatives. His only source of joy is his love for Laali (Zareen Khan) , a girl from a well-to-do family. However, their class difference and Laali's protective brother stand as major obstacles to their romance. The film's initial act establishes Shinda's poverty-stricken life and his deep-seated desire to improve his situation for himself and his two close friends, Binder (Gurpreet Ghuggi) and Pant (Yashpal Sharma) .
