In 2016, a hacker group breached MEGA's servers and used pastebin as part of their disclosure strategy. The hackers initially published a pastebin file containing administrative login credentials for several MEGA employees. Later the same day, they published a second pastebin entry containing a link to the stolen data, which was ironically hosted on MEGA.nz itself.
