Upgrade is a 2018 Australian cyberpunk action-thriller film written and directed by Leigh Whannell (co-creator of Saw and Insidious ). Set in a gritty, near-future world, the film follows (Logan Marshall-Green), a technophobic mechanic who is left paralyzed after a brutal attack that also kills his wife.
