BMW stopped actively developing software for the E90 platform around 2018–2019. This means that versions like or v68.0 contain 100% of the coding data ever produced for the E90. Using ultra-late versions (like v71+) provides no extra benefit for daily coding and can sometimes cause errors if your NCS Expert profile templates are outdated. For Flashing/Updating (WinKFP)

E90s require registering a new battery via Tool32. If your SP Daten is v48 (old), the tool will look for the old BS2000 module. Newer SP Daten redirects to the E70 power management protocol, allowing successful registration.
