With EZmix 1, the workflow was linear:
On the left panel, EZmix 1 featured a comprehensive preset browser that organized its into various categories, including instrument type (drums, vocals, guitars, bass, keyboards) and effect type. The presets could be sorted alphabetically, marked as favorites for quick recall, or located using free-text searches—a forward-thinking feature for its time.
