Watching Hatim Episode 1 today is a nostalgic trip, but also a reminder of a time when TV fantasy wasn't afraid to be earnest. It's a pilot that efficiently sets up its mythology, introduces a hero you’d want to follow, and sends him off on a path full of monsters, magic, and moral tests. For fans of Alif Laila or Arabian Nights adaptations, it’s the perfect first step into a forgotten gem of Indian television.
